Returns and Exchanges
Return policy
Golden Bear merchandise may be returned in original condition within 30 days of purchase with original invoice. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Refunds in the form of original payment will be made for items purchased through our catalog department. Original payments of check or money order will be mailed a check refund 2 to 4 weeks after we receive your return. Gift recipients will receive a non-refundable merchandise credit. Sale items may be returned or exchanged in original condition within 14 days of purchase.
*Please note that when returning items you will be refunded the price that was paid at the time of purchase and is indicated on your invoice
Exchange policy
Golden Bear merchandise may be exchanged if it is returned in original condition within 30 days of purchase. Customers will be charged or credited (in the form of original payment) for any difference in cost of the exchanged items. Gift recipients will receive a non-refundable merchandise credit. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Please see our shipping section.

We recommend that you insure and track your package. We are NOT responsible for lost return packages. Please also include a note with your name, invoice number, telephone number, mailing address, billing information and reason for the shipment. Shipping fees do apply.
Shipping Options
Domestic
Unless otherwise specified, The Golden Bear will ship all in-stock items within 48 hours of order placement via UPS. If an item you ordered is out of stock or on back order and doesn't otherwise specify, you may call our customer service department for more information at 1-800-338-7782. Please note that The Golden Bear does not ship on Saturday or Sunday.
*** The day your package ships is not included in the delivery time. (If your package ships 3-day air on a Monday, it will not arrive until Thursday.)
Base Shipping Charges
All in-stock items are shipped within 48 hours of ordering via UPS ground. Charges include insurance and are based on the value of your order:(See chart below.)

We can ship only to addresses within the U.S. Alaska and Hawaii incur an additional premium of $25. No expedited shipping is available.
Oversize packages (9" x 9" x 9" or larger) will incur an additional premium of $25.
Express Delivery:
If fast delivery is especially important, we offer express delivery service within the contiguous U.S. In-stock items ordered by 12:00 pm Mountain Standard Time, Monday-Friday, can be shipped the same day. Our express shipping charges are:

Oversized Gift Items:
Oversized gift items (9" x 9" x 9" or larger) shipped via UPS ground are billed at our standard rates plus a $25 oversize fee. Express shipping is not available for oversized packages.
International:
Currently, we are only able to accept orders with shipping addresses to the United States. You may, however, purchase from an international address and ship to the United States.
Gift Certificates:
Gift Certificates are not taxed.
Sales Tax:
Sales tax is applied according to where your order is being shipped to within Colorado.
